How to choose

Both tools now cost about $150/mo on monthly billing, so month-to-month price no longer separates them.
Choose Final Round AI if you will interview all year: paying $300 upfront brings it to $25/mo, the cheaper annual path of the two.
Choose Parakeet AI if you want to test with a free trial first, or only need a week of coverage or a handful of credits.

Verve AI fills the gap both leave for monthly buyers: $84.99/mo for unlimited sessions — about 43% less than either charges month to month — with automatic question detection and stealth mode on every tier, and one unlimited plan rather than a ladder of credit packs and prepaid bundles. If you can commit to a full year upfront, Final Round AI's annual rate is the cheaper path. For interview seasons that last one to three months, the monthly price is the number that matters. The team shipped 149 updates in 2025. If you are new to the category, start with how an AI Interview Copilot works before comparing tools.

FAQ: Final Round AI vs Parakeet AI

Is Final Round AI worth it?

The yearly plan at $25/mo is competitive if you are confident you will still be interviewing months from now and can pay for a full year upfront. The monthly plan at $150/mo is steep for a typical one-to-two-month search, there is no free trial to test it first, and the 72-hour refund window closes once you have run two longer sessions.

Is Parakeet AI free?

There is a free trial that does not require a credit card, so you can test it at no cost. Paid access starts at $78 for a week or $149.90/mo for unlimited sessions, and a credits option lets you pay as you go.

Do both work on Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams?

Yes. Final Round AI lists support for Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Webex, and Parakeet AI advertises screen-share invisibility on the major meeting platforms. Verve AI works on all three as well.

Which is cheaper, Final Round AI or Parakeet AI?

On monthly billing it is close to a tie: $150/mo for Final Round AI against $149.90/mo for Parakeet AI. On annual billing Final Round AI is clearly cheaper — $25/mo billed yearly versus roughly $50/mo ($599.90/yr) for Parakeet AI. Both monthly prices sit well above Verve AI's $84.99/mo unlimited plan.
