The Best 5 AI Interview Copilots in 2026

The best 5 AI interview copilots in 2026, ranked on stealth, follow-up questions, personalization, free sessions and monthly price.

Any list of the best 5 AI interview copilots in 2026 has to start by admitting how much the category has changed. Two years ago the question was whether a tool could transcribe an interviewer and produce an answer at all, and today nearly all of them can, so the tools now differ in what happens around that answer: whether it stays hidden, whether it follows the conversation, and what you can try before paying.

We wrote this list for job seekers who want a short, current view of the leading tools and what each one is best at. It explains how we ranked them, describes the five under the same headings so that they can be compared, and closes with how to pick between them. We make Verve AI, which is first on the list, so weigh our view accordingly; everything we say about the other four comes from their own websites, documentation and public reviews as they stood in October 2026.

How did we rank the best 5 AI interview copilots in 2026?

We ranked the tools on what matters during a live interview and in the days before it, in this order.

  • Whether the copilot stays hidden during screen sharing, and on which plans.
  • Whether it follows the conversation through follow-up questions.
  • How much of your own background its answers can draw on.
  • Whether you can run a real session before paying.
  • What unlimited use costs when you pay month to month, which is how most job seekers pay.

Prices are from each company's own pricing page and from our pricing page.

1. Verve AI

Verve AI is a real-time interview copilot with a desktop app for Mac and Windows, a browser version and an iPhone app, and it is built for the live interview itself.

What it is best at

Verve AI is strongest at following a conversation. It keeps the context of the whole interview, so follow-up questions are answered in light of what was asked and said earlier, and its three ways of getting help share that context: automatic answers from the audio, a chatbot for typed questions, and a hotkey that captures part of your screen. In a coding round, that means the interviewer's spoken questions about your solution are answered about the code you already captured.

Stealth, free plan and price

Stealth Mode is included in the desktop app on every plan, the free one among them, and the documentation states where it is guaranteed. The free plan has three live sessions of 15 minutes and five mock interviews with no card. Pro, with unlimited sessions and our reasoning models, is $84.99 a month or $34.99 a month billed annually, and Standard is $44.99 a month for five sessions. 2. Final Round AI

Final Round AI is a desktop interview copilot with a strong practice side, and it is one of the best-known names in the category.

What it is best at

Its practice interviews and post-session reports are what its reviewers praise most, and each job you prepare for is organized as a Goal that holds your resume, the job description and your notes. During a live interview it detects questions automatically and can read a problem from your screen.

Stealth, free plan and price

Stealth Mode is included on its paid plans, and its FAQ recommends a screen-share test before an important interview. The free plan does not include live or practice sessions. The Monthly plan is $150, and its lower monthly figures are charged as quarterly or annual payments, with premium AI models reserved for the annual Premium MAX plan. Our Verve AI vs Final Round AI comparison goes through the details.

3. Parakeet AI

Parakeet AI is an interview copilot with a desktop app and a browser version, and most of its public reviews are positive.

What it is best at

Parakeet AI is the best fit for someone who wants to pay for a single interview. It sells credits that do not expire, at $38 for two 30-minute sessions, alongside its subscriptions, and its reviewers praise how quickly answers appear and how easy it is to set up.

Stealth, free plan and price

Its desktop app has a Private setting that hides the window from screen sharing, with a specific Zoom setting required, and the browser version cannot hide itself. The free tier gives 10 sessions of up to 10 minutes and one mock interview, and unlimited use is $149.90 a month. We compare the two products in Verve AI vs Parakeet AI.

4. LockedIn AI

LockedIn AI is an interview copilot with desktop, web and iPhone apps and the largest number of settings of any tool on this list.

What it is best at

LockedIn AI suits people who like to configure things. It offers a wide choice of AI models, unlimited document uploads, custom prompts and a feature that lets a trusted person assist you remotely during a session, and its support team replies to nearly all of its negative reviews.

Stealth, free plan and price

Stealth Mode is included on its Professional, Credits and Lifetime plans and not on the free plan or the General plan, which is the lowest-priced unlimited option. The free plan allows sessions of five minutes, up to an hour a day. Professional is $119.99 a month and General is $54.99 a month, with a promotional code already applied to the prices shown. Verve AI vs LockedIn AI has the full comparison.

5. Sensei AI

Sensei AI is a browser-based interview copilot with a Chrome extension for coding interviews.

What it is best at

Sensei AI has the lowest annual price of the five and a simple, hands-free design that answers when the interviewer stops speaking. It builds answers from your resume, the job description and a library of your own stories.

Stealth, free plan and price

Sensei AI runs in a browser tab and does not offer a desktop app, and its site does not claim that the tab is hidden when you share your own screen, so it suits interviews where you will not be asked to. The free plan has short sessions that can be restarted, on its general interview track. PRO is $89 a month or $24 a month billed annually. More detail is in Verve AI vs Sensei AI.

What about Cluely?

Cluely appears on many lists of interview tools, and we have left it off this one because it describes itself as a meeting assistant and notetaker, and its help center points people with interview use cases elsewhere. It answers when you ask it to, and it hides from screen sharing only on its highest plan. Verve AI vs Cluely explains the difference between a meeting assistant and an interview copilot.

Two more specialized tools are also outside the five: a coding-only app, which we cover in Verve AI vs Interview Coder, and a low-priced web copilot, covered in Verve AI vs Interviews Chat.

Which of the best 5 AI interview copilots in 2026 should you choose?

The right choice follows from how you will use it. For live interviews with screen sharing, technical rounds or frequent follow-up questions, Verve AI is the one built for those conditions, and its free plan lets you confirm that on your own computer. For rehearsal above all, Final Round AI's practice tools are well regarded, and for a single interview paid for once, Parakeet AI's credits are the lowest commitment.

If you would like to choose by your situation instead of by rank, our guide to the best AI interview copilot for job seekers goes through six kinds of job search, and our comparison of interview copilot free trials shows what each tool lets you do before paying. You can also start on Verve AI's free plan without entering a card.

FAQ

What is the best AI interview copilot in 2026?

For live interviews, we rank Verve AI first because it follows the conversation through follow-up questions, includes Stealth Mode on every plan and offers free live sessions. Final Round AI is strong for practice interviews, and Parakeet AI suits a single interview paid for with credits.

Which AI interview copilot is the cheapest?

The answer depends on how you pay. For unlimited sessions month to month, LockedIn AI's General plan is $54.99 without Stealth Mode and Verve AI Pro is $84.99 with it. On annual billing Sensei AI is lowest at $24 a month, and for one interview Parakeet AI's $38 credit or Verve AI's free sessions cost least.

Which AI interview copilots have a free plan?

Verve AI, Parakeet AI, LockedIn AI and Sensei AI all let you run live sessions without paying, with different limits on length. Verve AI's free plan also includes Stealth Mode and five mock interviews. Final Round AI's free plan does not include live or practice sessions.

Do all AI interview copilots hide during screen sharing?

Not all of them do, because hiding from screen sharing requires a desktop app built for it and some tools include the feature only on certain plans. Verve AI includes Stealth Mode in its desktop app on every plan, and browser-based copilots cannot hide a tab.
